At Everglades Alligator Farm, the oldest alligator farm in South Florida, every ride comes with a little extra adventure, including our signature 360° airboat spins that you won’t find anywhere else in the area.

Departures

Airboats depart once every hour at 20 minutes past the hour, from 9:20 AM through 5:20 PM. No reservation is needed for the standard ride. Just check in at the front desk, and we'll put you on the next available airboat.

Online tickets are not reservations for a specific departure time. To enjoy the airboat ride, both shows, and the farm, please arrive before 3:00 PM.

Before You Board

Protect your ears

Airboats are loud. Complimentary ear protection is provided for every guest when boarding.

Expect Some Spray

There are no dry seats on the boat. Secure your valuables and dress comfortably for a splash.

Little Ones Ride Too

Guests of all ages are welcome. Children 5 and under are required to wear a life vest, that we will provide at the boat dock.

Wild Means Wild

Sightings are never guaranteed, but guests often spot alligators, fish, turtles, birds, and other native wildlife along the way.

Questions Before You Ride?

How long is the airboat ride?

About 20 minutes, including a slow ride portion and a high speed portion with 360 degree spins for excitement.

Do you get wet on the boat?

Absolutely! There are no dry seats on the boat, and splashes are part of the adventure.

Do I need a reservation?

No reservation is needed for the standard airboat ride. Just arrive and we’ll schedule you for the next available departure. An online ticket or voucher is not a reservation for a specific time. Reservations are recommended for private airboat tours and the VIP Experience.

Are there age restrictions?

We welcome all ages, but please note that the boats are loud, and some small children may be sensitive to the noise. Life vests are provided for children 5 and under.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes that can get wet. Sunglasses and hats are optional, and sunscreen is highly recommended. Food and drinks are not allowed on the boat.

What happens if the weather turns?

Airboat rides are subject to weather conditions. For lightning or unsafe conditions, rides may be delayed, rescheduled, or partially refunded. Our team monitors the weather closely to keep every guest safe.
